The Scratch Patch and Mineral World outlet at the V&A Waterfront is one of the most popular places for visitors to see and buy gemstones. There are a wide variety of tumble-polished gemstones in the Scratch Patch that quite literally cover the floor. There are mostly popular Southern African stones such as Tiger’s Eye, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Jasper, Agates and Crystals. If you’re lucky, you might find virtually anything including Lapis Lazuli, Blue Lace Agate and some really exotic stones!
