What to expect
The Olympic Museum of Barcelona is located on the mountain of Montjuïc and offers a unique experience on sport (majority, minority, Olympic and non-Olympic, such as football, motorcycling, Formula 1, skiing, cycling, canoeing, baseball, chess, tennis....) This innovative museum offers its visitors an overview of the different sports disciplines, using state-of-the-art technology and interactive exhibitions, as well as multimedia installations.
Things to look out for
The museum has a permanent exhibition on the host cities of the Olympics, from Barcelona 1992 to London 2012, and enjoy the first Olympics that were broadcasted on television. On the tour you can enjoy Barcelona 92, known as the best games in history. The archive that the Olympic Museum of Barcelona has about the Olympics of "Cobi" and "Petra" is impressive, as is to be expected: from the paraphernalia of the spectacular opening ceremony.
