What to expect

Discover a world-renowned collection of modern and contemporary art in the vibrant neighborhood of Pangrati, in central Athens. While you're there, take the opportunity to purchase exclusive, custom-made products inspired by the Museum’s art collection at the museum shop. Things to look out for

The B&E Goulandris Foundation’s permanent Collection is on display on four different floors.

The first floor, “Classics of Modern Art”, features masterpieces by El Greco, van Gogh, Picasso, Cézanne and Degas among others, while the second floor, “Glances of the 20th century”, includes works by Pollock, Bacon and Giacometti.

The third and fourth floors are dedicated to modern and contemporary Greek art, with works by Tsarouchis, Moralis, Tetsis, Hadjikyriakos-Ghika, Takis, Parthenis and many others.

The Collection is housed in a listed, mid-war building with a contemporary extension, close to the Panathenaic Stadium and the National Garden.
